PROGRAMS
Chapters are the essential foundation of We Make Noise, bringing our mission to life through in-person programming in communities around the world. From volunteer-led student groups in small towns to fully-funded programs in major music hubs, each chapter is unique, shaped by its local social, economic, and cultural context. What unites us is our shared commitment to advancing global gender equity in music and technology through education, community building, and creating opportunities.
We Make Noise Sessions are 2-3 day songwriting and production camps where a selected featured artist collaborates with 20-40 women and gender-expansive writers and producers in a safe, inclusive, and creative space. Previous featured artists have included Kimbra, Agnez Mo and Madame Gandhi, resulting in more than 50 credits for participants.
The We Make Noise Hub is a digital membership platform that unites education, community, and professional development in one accessible online space. Whether at home or on the go, our global community can connect, learn, and grow.​ The Hub features collaborations and discounts from industry leaders like Roland Cloud, Splice, BandLab, and Ableton.
We Make Noise Chapters hold festivals all around the world featuring lineups of women and gender-expansive artists. Over 40,000 people have attended our festivals globally across the last three years.
Artists and producers in the We Make Noise community have created sample packs through Splice and Bandlab. Through these partnerships, WMN has created paid opportunities to advance their careers for 10+ female and gender-expansive creators.
